Raising the kittens

Week 6 to 8 Kittens weigh between 315 to 700 grams. As a breeder, this is the time you will be very busy taking care of the kittens. The kittens will show their wish to explore the world and will play for hours and hours without getting tired. Buy them safe toys. They will also do things that are not really tolerated. Time for some real education then You can correct kittens by using a louder sound of your voice saying what is tolerated and what's not, or call them by name if they got one. You pick up the kitten and move it. Often the kitten will become even ballistic so keep the faith and correct them again. After a week, most kittens are aware of the fact that they should not scratch the wallpaper, furniture etc.. A KRABPLANK or cardboard-scratchbox is a well appreciated solution. Remove and hide all your valuable goods what can be destroyed. Never ever strike, hit or beat the cats. Slowly, the kittens should get used to water. In the very beginning they will put their noses in and think "what's this?". Just continue to refresh the water twice a day. Last page
